REGISTRATION
At Xplosive Dance Company, we pride ourselves in providing all dancers with expert dance training and a positive learning experience. Our dance program is structured to provide a comprehensive curriculum for each dancer that will allow them to learn and excel in all the different dance styles.
Classes are offered Monday through Friday from 4:00pm – 9:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00am – 2:00pm.
The classes we offer are:
Auditions are held at the beginning of the season for all new and returning dancers. Afterwards, each dancer along with their coaches, teachers and parents will be able to choose their schedule of classes according to their skill levels and the classes in which they wish to participate. At this time, dancers will also be able to enroll in the Competition Team and choose their solos, duets, trios and group dances for the upcoming season.

- Acrobatics - the basis for all the moves that add wow factor to a routine through a combination of flexibility, strength and gymnastics.
- Ballet – considered the foundation of all dance forms and essential in becoming a technically trained dancer.
- Ballroom - a partnership dance where couples, using step-patterns, move rhythmically, expressing the characteristics of music.
- Contemporary - a dance form that combines elements of various dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and ballet.
- Jazz - a performance dance that encourages individual expression and the development of personal style.
- Lyrical - utilizes the foundation of ballet and dancers interpret the lyrics of the music through their movement, expression and emotion.
- Technique – designed to improve the dancer’s technical skills, abilities and performance quality.
Auditions are held at the beginning of the season for all new and returning dancers. SCHEDULE
COMPETITION TEAM
The 2025-2026 XDC competition team features dancers ages four to nineteen competing in large and small groups, trios, duos, and solos. These dancers attend their regular schedule of classes with the rest of the studio and rehearse competition dances with the coaches and the other members of the competition team.
We attend four to five competitions each year and although most of them are held in South Florida, we also travel to Jacksonville, Lakeland and Orlando for regional and national competitions.
Dancers that wish to participate in the competition team can enroll during the auditions held at the beginning of the season.
